Euro Market Activity Report (EMAR)

The objective pursued by the publication of a consolidated euro area dealer activity report is to give an overview of trends -per counterparty type, per region, per maturity- in sovereign and supranational securities market turnover in the euro area.

The ESDM publishes EMAR on a quarterly basis. It is based upon the turnover reported by the dealers to the participating Debt Management Offices in their respective markets.

Dealer reporting is on a trade by trade basis and has been harmonised so as to simplify and improve the consistency of the dealer reporting process.
